Experienced Bankruptcy Lawyer Handling Bankruptcy case in the Chicago Metropolitan Area
For over 25 years, I have helped hundreds of individuals, families, and businesses erase or restructure tens of millions of dollars of debt in the greater Chicago area - including Cook, Lake, DuPage, McHenry, Kane, and Will Counties. I have an office in Northwest Chicago and a suburban office in Des Plaines. Whether it is a foreclosure, a credit card debt, a car loan, a personal loan, a business loan, a personal guarantee, or any other debt, I fight my client's creditors, so they can move on with their lives. I value every client and do my absolute best to be available when they have questions or concerns. I can be reached by phone, text, or email, and my staff is always willing to help. I also make it convenient to meet. If you cannot meet during the day, I also keep the evening and Saturday hours. When you become my client, you will be assured that your attorney has your best interests in mind, and you will be treated in a friendly and respectful manner throughout the entire process.
I am dedicated to my client's success and committed to continually improving my legal skills. I am a member of the American Bar Association and Chicago Bar Association. I have been recognized by the National Trial Lawyers - Top 100 Attorneys in Illinois and have a Superb rating by Avvo. I have the privilege to practice law before the United States Supreme Court and all Illinois state and federal courts.
I understand what you are going through if you are struggling to make ends meet or trying to save your home, car, or business. The stress from the constant pressure from creditors can be nerve-wracking and detrimental to your health. If you feel that there is no way out of your debt, do not give up because state and federal law gives you many options. I can help negotiate with your creditors to reach the best possible result for you. If your economic situation is more serious, a Chapter 7 or Chapter 13 bankruptcy may be required to eliminate or restructure your debt. Clients are often concerned that filing bankruptcy is a stigma that will last a lifetime. The fact is that after bankruptcy, almost all debtors emerge in a much better financial position because they have erased nearly all their debts, and their credit score has improved. Within a couple of months of completing bankruptcy, debtors start receiving new credit card offers and have access to credit once again.
I have seen the happiness that is restored in my client's lives after they erase or recognize their debts. As a lawyer, it is very satisfying to see my clients get rid of their debts and get a fresh start or save their family home from foreclosure. The banks and the finance companies are not in the business of helping you out if you are having financial hardship. If they are unwilling to negotiate and insist on their aggressive collection activities, you have a right to level the playing field and file for bankruptcy under Article 1 of the United States Constitution. Chapter 7 and 13 bankruptcy are powerful options in erasing your debt and starting fresh. Nothing is as effective as bankruptcy in dealing with unreasonable creditors.
It requires a lot of legal skill and experience to advise a client which Chapter bankruptcy to file and what to expect after the case is filed. I have represented over 700 clients over the last two decades with phenomenal results in Chicago, Cook, Lake, Will, DuPage, McHenry, or Kane counties. All my years of experience will make the process smooth and stress-free. If I review your case and determine that you are eligible for bankruptcy relief, you can be assured that your case's outcome will be a success.
I treat my clients with respect and dignity just as I like to be treated. I stay in close contact throughout the entire process. My paralegals use state-of-the-art technology to help me prepare your documents, but your case is never assigned to another attorney or another firm. I handle your case from beginning to end. You will be fully informed about what direction we need to take, and we do not make any decisions without your consent. With my guidance and legal representation, you will once again feel that you have control of your finances.
On a personal note, I grew up on Chicago's northside in a primarily Greek - American neighborhood. I went to Chicago Public Schools - Budlong for elementary school and Lane Tech for High School. After graduating from Lane Tech, I went to Northeastern Illinois University and received my BA and MA in Political Science. I received my law degree (JD) from Western Michigan University Cooley Law School. I am married with three young boys. I enjoy politics, writing music, art, reading history, and technology.
I can sincerely tell you that you will be in good hands if I am your attorney. Dealing with your creditors is not easy and requires legal knowledge and particular skills.
